About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Special Education Teacher to work with an Indiana school district during the 2026–2027 academic year. The teacher will provide engaging, individualized instruction, support students with varied learning needs, and help them make academic progress in an inclusive and supportive school environment. The role includes planning lessons aligned with students’ needs and IEP objectives, adapting learning materials and assessments, monitoring student growth, and coordinating services with families and school personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license or appropriate eligibility for Indiana licensure.
Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous special education or school-based teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group lessons addressing students’ academic needs and IEP objectives.
Modify instructional content, assignments, and assessments to accommodate different learning abilities.
Track academic performance, review student data, and adjust teaching methods to support student development.
Develop, update, and maintain Individualized Education Programs in accordance with applicable requirements.
Promote classroom participation, reinforce appropriate behaviors, and establish consistent instructional routines.
Coordinate with general education teachers, related-service professionals, and other school personnel to support individualized learning plans.
Communicate with parents and caregivers about student needs and educational progress.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and special education records.
Attend IEP conferences and multidisciplinary discussions to coordinate student support.
