About The Position

KVC Academy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the anticipated 2026–2027 school year at its Columbia, Missouri location. The teacher will provide high-quality education and support to students in a nurturing environment focused on both learning and healing. Small class sizes enable personalized attention and support for students’ academic and emotional growth. The position is salaried, with annual pay of $41,000–$70,000 based on education and years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
