Special Education Teacher
About The Position
HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is hiring a full-time, onsite Special Education Teacher for an individual classroom in Wesley Chapel, Florida. The role supports children and families in a collaborative pediatric environment and involves assessing students’ educational needs, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering services prescribed in those plans, and maintaining required district documentation. The stated pay range is $40–$45 per hour as a W-2 employee. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students’ educational deficits.
- Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
- Participate in the IEP process by developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students who qualify for Special Education services.
- Provide Special Education sessions using current best practices and the services prescribed in each student’s IEP.
- Maintain district-required documentation, including notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
