Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Sage Connections is hiring a full-time W-2 Special Education Teacher to provide school-based services to K–12 students during the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple caseloads and classroom assignments are available, serving elementary and high school students. The position is approximately 37.5 hours per week, with a start date listed as ASAP and work continuing through June 2027. The teacher will provide specially designed instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals, develop and implement individualized education plans, and adapt curriculum and materials to address diverse learning needs. The role includes collaborating with general education teachers and support staff, maintaining documentation and progress monitoring, participating in and leading IEP meetings, and communicating regularly with families. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- Valid state teaching credential with an appropriate Special Education endorsement.
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
