About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Appleton, WI area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is a full-time, in-person role with 35 paid hours per week, working in cross-categorical classrooms for middle school and early childhood itinerant positions.
Requirements
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School Special Education Cross-Categorical license REQUIRED
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach in cross-categorical classrooms for middle school and early childhood itinerant positions.
- Make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists.
- Provide support and mentorship to students.
