About The Position

Join Cross Country Education as a dedicated Special Education Teacher and help students develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive at school and beyond in San Gabriel, CA. This role involves providing specialized instruction and academic support to TK–5 students with mild-to-moderate learning needs through both push-in and pull-out services. The teacher will also serve as a case manager for assigned students, coordinating IEP development, meetings, progress monitoring, and implementation of individualized goals and accommodations. Collaboration with general education teachers and support staff to adapt instruction, assignments, and classroom strategies is key. The role requires monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation to inform instructional planning and IEP updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Valid California Special Education Credential with Mild/Moderate Disabilities or equivalent authorization and English Learner (EL) authorization required

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing resource specialist, push-in/pull-out, or special education services in an elementary school setting preferred
