About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking Special Education Mild to Moderate Support Needs Teachers for the 2026-27 school year. The position is located at San Onofre School in San Clemente. Applicants must possess a California Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Mild to Moderate Support Needs (or equivalent), Autism, and CLAD/English Learner authorizations. If a credential is not yet issued, a letter from the university confirming completion is required. Out-of-state applicants need to provide a copy of their current state credential(s)/license(s).

Requirements

California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Mild to Moderate Support Needs (or equivalent)
Autism authorization
CLAD/English Learner Authorizations
Out-of-state applicants must have a corresponding credential/license and obtain the appropriate California credentials.
Letter of introduction addressed to Kimberly Huesing, Assistant Superintendent, H.R.
Resume
Three (3) letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor)
Copy of credential or letter from the university stating anticipated credential type and issuance date
Copies of transcripts reflecting degree/major and any postgraduate coursework (if you have multiple sets of transcripts, combine them all into one PDF file and upload)
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical
Successful completion of a drug/alcohol screening
Fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and the FBI
Current verification of a negative T.B. test or x-ray
