About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a full-time, campus-based Special Education Teacher for an Illinois partner district. The position oversees a self-contained classroom of approximately 10 students with neurodiverse learning profiles and complex developmental needs, primarily students on the autism spectrum who require substantial, high-intensity support. The teacher develops individualized learning pathways, establishes structured daily routines, and cultivates an inclusive learning environment. The position is based in a school self-contained classroom in Illinois and is on-site. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM. The position is full-time and contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Exceptional Student Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a valid Special Education (LBS1) endorsement.
- Advanced classroom management capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

- Experience managing intensive support requirements.
- Experience leading a self-contained classroom.
