Requirements
- Must hold an active Minnesota Special Education teaching certificate/license; pending credentials will not be accepted.
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the past 5 years
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, specialists, and school support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction and support for Pre-K–8th grade students
- Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals using engaging, differentiated teaching methods
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and tools to address the individual needs of each student
- Establish clear learning objectives, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student development and support home-based reinforcement strategies
