About The Position
The individual will provide services in programs of special education, working in a small, specialized high school with students focused on job skills, independence, and academics. The individual will need the ability to take direction, be flexible, be patient, and work collaboratively as a team member. The individual should have knowledge regarding or experience with students with disabilities.
Requirements
- Civil Service – Non-competitive
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge regarding or experience with students with disabilities.
Nice To Haves
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) and de-escalation training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide services in programs of special education.
