About The Position
This position is part-time, 16 hours per week. Apex Academy, located in Cleveland, OH, opened in 2004 and serves over 475 K-8 students annually. Requirements
- Qualified candidates must hold valid licensure for the state they are working in.
- Ohio: Ohio State Board approved School Psychologist license.
- Ohio: Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license with the School Psychologist endorsement.
Responsibilities
- Administers and interprets a wide range of individualized standardized assessment instruments in all psychological domains.
- Guides other staff in the administration of achievement tests.
- Conducts effective psychological and psycho-educational diagnostic, prescriptive evaluations of children.
- Completes interventions and instructional support to assist in developing academic skills.
- Assists in writing and consults on implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP) goals.
- Counsel students and parents, pointing them toward further resources when needed.
- Collaborates with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies and programs.
