Special Ed Program Assistant w/SEHN
About The Position
The Special Education Program Assistant works in a high-needs special education program and receives a $6.00 per hour SEHN stipend in addition to regular pay. The stipend applies to Program Assistants working in high-needs special education programs; more specific information will be shared by the building administration. The position is scheduled for 185 days per year, Monday through Friday, for 6.5 hours per day. Pay is $16.88 per hour plus the SEHN stipend. Applicants must hold at least one of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL).
