About The Position
At Parkview Center School, our paraprofessionals are an essential part of our students' success. We are seeking a Special Education Setting III Paraprofessional to join our STAR program supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs. Working alongside licensed special education teachers and a supportive team, you'll help students build independence, confidence, and the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements
- 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment.
Responsibilities
- Providing classroom support
- Implementing individualized student strategies under the direction of licensed staff
- Supervising students during lunch and recess
