About The Position

The Special Education Para Professional supports teachers in delivering instruction to students with disabilities and helps implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Under the direction of the special education teacher, the role reinforces students’ academic and behavioral goals and fosters a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Training will be provided. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering instruction to students with disabilities.
