About The Position

Yeled is seeking qualified Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEITs) to provide high-quality educational services to children with special needs in the Bronx, New York. Opportunities are available in school-based and community-based settings, including school-based placements. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with afternoon and evening assignments and flexible scheduling. Clinical and administrative support is provided. Compensation is $70 or more per hour.

Requirements

• New York State Special Education Masters Certification is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized special education services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, and related service providers.
• Support students' academic, social, and developmental growth.
