The Special Education Coordinator, Senior provides professional development training and technical assistance related to implementing statewide and local education agencies specific goals, prioritizing those efforts that result in increased academic achievement for students with disabilities. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely, where all work is performed from an alternate work location within the State of Idaho. The Center for School and Community Partnerships at Boise State University has a robust project portfolio. Annually, we administer more than $6 million in projects, and our work serves hundreds of Idaho schools, and thousands of educators and students. Our work is grounded in a strong commitment to service, and community-engaged partnerships that support the work of public education systems. Applicants will join a team of professionals with a variety of expertise in instruction, student support services, school leadership, STEM education, special education, school nutrition, program evaluation, and other topics.
