About The Position

This position serves as a Special Education Coach for K-12 students. The coach will work with teachers to support the implementation of evidence-based practices and instructional strategies within an inclusion model. The role involves data collection and analysis to drive student growth and inform instructional support for teachers. The coach will also act as a resource specialist for Intervention Specialists and lead professional development sessions.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Ohio Education Intervention Specialist License K-12 (mild/moderate or moderate/intensive).
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
  • Possess skills and ability to collect and analyze student data to measure growth and determine instructional support needs of teachers.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with adult learners.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with students and adults.
  • Possess knowledge of Ohio content standards.
  • Self-directed.
  • Acceptable to the Director of Student Services and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel.
