About The Position

ESS Clinical is hiring a full-time, in-person Special Education Behavior Teacher at Harmony Science Academy in Fort Worth, Texas, for the 2026–27 school year. The schedule follows school hours, typically seven-hour days. The role provides specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities, helping them address academic, social, and behavioral challenges and succeed in the classroom. The teacher may work with individual students, small groups, and whole classes, with opportunities across PreK–12 grade levels. The position involves collaboration with classroom teachers, counselors, school psychologists, families, and other support staff. School-based experience is preferred, but newer professionals are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Special Education Teacher or Special Education license/certification, as required by the state.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist with data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to support student success.
• Provide support to individual students, small groups, and whole classes.
• Use differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.
