About The Position
Arlington Public Schools is seeking a Special Ed Teacher for the T26/27 school year in Yorktown. This role involves maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with various stakeholders, monitoring student achievement, and attending professional development. The position requires teaching experience in special education, knowledge of best instructional practices, ability to integrate technology, and experience in educational and instructional leadership. Candidates must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure with a Special Education endorsement. A dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred.
