About The Position
This is a Special Education Program Assistant position with a stipend for working in high-needs special education programs (SEHN). The position is for 185 days a year, working 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $16.88 plus a $6.00/hr SEHN Stipend. Excellent benefits are offered.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold at least ONE of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL).
Responsibilities
- Assist in special education programs.
- Work in high needs special education programs to receive SEHN stipend.
