About The Position
This is a Special Education Program Assistant position with a SEHN (Special Education High Needs) Stipend. The position is for 185 days per year, working 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $16.88 plus a $6.00/hr SEHN Stipend. Excellent benefits are offered. More specific information regarding the SEHN stipend will be provided by building administration.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold at least ONE of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL).
- If you do not currently hold a license with ISBE, you must determine which license you are eligible for and apply for the ISBE license.
