About The Position
This is a Special Education Program Assistant position at Central Road School in Rolling Meadows, IL. The position is for 185 days a year, working 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $16.88 plus a $2.50/hr SEPA Stipend. Excellent benefits are offered. SEPA stands for Special Education Program Assistant, and the stipend is added when special care is required for the student. More information will be shared by building administration.
Requirements
- Must hold at least ONE of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL).
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in special education programs.
