About The Position

Semperian Group is recruiting a full-time, permanent SPC Manager to provide SPC management services to one or more PFI Projects on behalf of the SPC Board, its investors, and the Semperian Group business. The role is home based and requires regular travel to Wiltshire and Richmond.

Requirements

Degree-level qualification in a construction or facilities management discipline, or extensive senior-level experience.
Knowledge and experience of health and safety regulations equivalent to an IOSH Managing Safely course or higher.
Sound knowledge of the operation and management of PFI projects in the operational phase.
Knowledge of the relevant public sector area under the role’s responsibility.
Experience dealing with senior client organisation representatives.
Successful DBS check at the relevant level.

Responsibilities

Maintain and develop financial and operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient conduct of the SPC.
Ensure that the SPC health and safety monitoring regime is implemented.
Assist with preparing statutory reports, returns, statistics, and accounts in line with applicable law and operations management contracts.
Act as the SPC’s Representative under the PA and FMA on matters affecting agreements, policy, strategy, overall performance, and contract compliance.
Ensure the services team completes its obligations under the operation management contracts, including managing variations.
Monitor third-party service providers to each SPC operating company to minimise performance and availability deductions, including monitoring the Project Compliance Review regime and closing related actions.
