The CDC Foundation seeks a Strategic Plan to Advance Racial Equity (SP-ARE) Project Manager to support the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. This position will work with the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Health Equity, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and the Director of Performance Management and Quality Improvement. The SP-ARE Project Manager is responsible for the management of the SP-ARE implementation and supporting the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) reporting process. Both projects require a dedicated leader with a human-centered, trauma-informed approach and experience addressing institutional and structural barriers. The SP-ARE Project Manager will participate in SP-ARE-related meetings, support key work groups which are comprised of cross-department members, assist in aligning efforts and roles across various spaces that support racial equity efforts across DPH, and lead follow up and reporting key updates, including updating the SharePoint site. The SP-ARE Project Manager will also serve as a thought partner, advisor and cross-department collaborator. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving change to advance racial equity, coordinating with various internal collaborators to oversee the implementation of the SP-ARE and will play a pivotal role in shaping a supportive and inclusive environment.
