About The Position
Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is seeking passionate educators and subject-matter experts to become Spanish Tutors. This role allows tutors to focus on teaching students without managing the business aspects of tutoring. The mission is to help prepare today’s youth to become tomorrow’s successful adults. Tutor Doctor provides comprehensive support, including matching tutors with students based on expertise, teaching style, goals, and availability. They handle client acquisition, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing tutors to concentrate on student learning and confidence building. Tutors receive ongoing local team support, training, resources, and professional autonomy.
Requirements
- Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or working with students
- Strong knowledge of Spanish
- Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
- Experience as a teacher, education professional or subject-matter expert
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliability, professionalism and consistent follow-through
- Reliable transportation for in-home assignments
- A genuine passion for education and student success
