About The Position

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is seeking passionate educators and subject-matter experts to become ESL Tutors. The role focuses on making a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing personalized, one-to-one education. The company handles the business aspects of tutoring, such as client acquisition, billing, and administrative logistics, allowing tutors to concentrate on teaching. Tutors will be matched with students based on expertise, teaching style, student goals, and availability. Opportunities for both in-home and online tutoring are available in various East Valley communities.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or working with students
  • Strong knowledge in one or more academic subjects
  • Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
  • Experience as a teacher, education professional or subject-matter expert
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles
  • Reliability, professionalism and consistent follow-through
  • Reliable transportation for in-home assignments
  • A genuine passion for education and student success
