About The Position
The Spanish Translator helps ensure clear communication in written and spoken conversations between non-Spanish-speaking adjusters and Spanish-speaking clients. The role provides translation support in response to urgent requests from adjusters and assists the department with deadline-driven tasks during less busy periods. This is an in-office position.
Requirements
- Strong English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation skills.
- Ability to translate conversations promptly after receiving a prompt.
- Ability to multitask and work across multiple screens or tabs.
- Exceptional communication and comprehension in team meetings and conversations.
- Strong organizational skills to support interpretation and diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Translate digital and spoken material between English and Spanish in both directions.
- Respond to urgent translation requests from adjusters.
- Complete deadline-driven tasks, including handling voicemails, scanning and uploading mail, and paying monthly checks.
- Suggest ideas to help the team grow and facilitate its workload.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
