About The Position
The Spanish Translator helps ensure clear communication between non-Spanish-speaking adjusters and Spanish-speaking clients by translating written materials and conversations in both directions. The role also responds to urgent requests from adjusters and helps the department complete deadline-driven administrative tasks during less busy periods. This is an in-office position.
Requirements
- Strong English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation skills.
- Ability to interpret conversations immediately after a prompt is given.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple screens or tabs at a time.
- Exceptional communication and understanding in team meetings and conversations.
- Strong organizational ability to support smooth interpretation of diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Translate digital and spoken material between English and Spanish in both directions.
- Respond to urgent translation requests from adjusters.
- Complete deadline-driven tasks, including handling voicemails, scanning and uploading mail, and paying out monthly checks.
- Suggest ideas to help the team manage its workload.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
