About The Position

Culmen International is seeking a bilingual Spanish Linguist/Translator to support operations in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves providing Spanish-language interpretation and translation services for various high-level meetings, operational coordination, and intelligence products. The position requires proficiency in technical translation, including military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology, and the ability to operate interpretation equipment. The linguist will also be responsible for maintaining engagement records and logs, and supporting intelligence planning and systems development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university
• Experience in Spanish linguist/translator personnel who possess a minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings and operational coordination.
• Provide written translation and review of analytic, operational, and intelligence products.
• Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level.
• Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment.
• Translate technical documents containing military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology.
• Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs.
• Serve as SME, Intelligence Plans, Programs and Systems, with knowledge of CTOC operations.
• Assist in the development of intelligence planning, intelligence systems architecture requirements, and intelligence training.
