About The Position

Piedmont Global is seeking a Spanish Language Instructor to teach an intensive one-on-one Spanish Language course for an adult professional in Lubbock, TX. The course is scheduled to start on 05/26/2026 and will last approximately 600 hours, spanning about 6 months. Piedmont Global, based in the Metro Washington DC area, partners with enterprises and public sector organizations to enhance cross-cultural operations. They offer expertise in over 200 languages and provide advisory services, language and cultural expertise, workforce and learning solutions, and tech-enabled platforms to reduce risk, improve readiness, and support global expansion.

Requirements

  • Educated native, near native, or bilingual speaker of Spanish.
  • 2+ year(s) of classroom experience as a Spanish language Instructor for adult English-speaking learners.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with teaching adults either one-on-one or small-group classroom setting.
  • Familiarity with the ILR proficiency scale and ILR-based proficiency assessments.
  • Familiarity with various computer platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams).
