US-Based Remote Spanish Instructor
About The Position
The Language Doctors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Spanish Language Instructor for a temporary, remote assignment. This role involves conducting a 150-hour Virtual Spanish Initial Acquisition Course aimed at helping students reach a 1+/1+ or 2/2 on the DLPT, with a focus on reading, listening, vocabulary, and grammar. The course is scheduled to run from September 4, 2026, to approximately December 16, 2026, with instruction occurring on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM, totaling 12 hours per week. There will be no training on October 12, November 11, and November 27. The estimated duration of instruction is 108 hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Spanish language instructor.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, professional remote workspace.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized one-on-one Spanish language lessons with a focused emphasis on reading comprehension and written expression.
- Monitor and document student progress on an ongoing basis, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback after each session to support continuous improvement.
