About The Position

n-person Tutors will support high school students in ELA and U.S. History Regents preparation by reinforcing classroom instruction and helping students strengthen their understanding of key concepts. Tutors will work directly with students during the school day, providing academic support, answering questions, and helping students stay engaged with course material. This position requires bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates to support Spanish-speaking students. This program runs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish-speaking
• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
