About The Position

RTX is seeking a Business Manager to support the Spain Patriot programs within the Land & Air Defense Systems SBU. As a member of the finance team, the successful candidate will perform detailed financial analysis to explain monthly variances to budget and the estimate-at-complete (EAC) position, support the FP&A team, and mentor junior analysts. The role is hybrid, with regular work both onsite and offsite. The preferred candidate will be within commuting distance of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; relocation assistance is not offered. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program or contract. A security clearance is not required.

Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience.
Experience in program controls and/or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Experience with financial systems such as SAP, APEX, AO, or similar processes.
Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts, systems, and/or processes.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Lead Estimate at Complete (EAC), Earned Value, and Budget Change Request (BCR) processes, as well as budget sign-up during program startup and baseline activities when new scope is awarded.
Mentor and develop other analysts on the team.
Support approved BCRs and ensure changes are incorporated into control systems.
Prepare and present Earned Value financial data for Monthly Operating Reviews, Financial Reviews, and other forums.
Perform program control activities, including understanding and interpreting monthly variance analysis and billing.
Support program offset projects.
Complete ad hoc tasks and analysis as required.
Perform detailed financial analysis to help define and understand monthly variances to budget and the EAC position, and support the FP&A team.
