About The Position

Vantor is hiring a Space Systems MBSE Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force and teammates advancing a Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) space and ground system. The role connects mission needs, system architecture, and detailed engineering through digital models that help teams make informed decisions throughout the system lifecycle. It combines hands-on model-based systems engineering, cross-disciplinary integration, and technical leadership. The engineer will address complex engineering challenges, help resolve risks before they affect delivery, and guide teammates developing models and engineering products that support mission success. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance; applicants without the required active clearance are not eligible. Cleared-role employment is contingent on clearance verification. Certain roles may also be subject to U.S. export control laws requiring U.S. person status. The role requires working onsite at least two to three times per week, with meetings or schedules potentially requiring additional onsite days. The California base-pay range is $147,000 to $196,000 to $215,600 annually, with pay dependent on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Other states may have different market-driven ranges. Vantor offers a competitive total rewards package, including a 401(k) with company match, mental health resources, student loan repayment assistance, adoption reimbursement, and pet insurance. The application window is three days from posting and remains open until a qualified candidate is identified.
