About The Position

Vantor is hiring an MBSE Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force in developing and rapidly deploying resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities. The role connects mission needs to engineering decisions and supports space systems that deter threats and deliver critical information to warfighters. The engineer brings digital models, system architectures, and technical requirements together to support acquisition and development. Working with government customers and multidisciplinary teams, the role involves understanding complex systems, evaluating design tradeoffs, and addressing integration challenges across the product lifecycle. The position requires onsite work at least two to three days per week, with schedules or meetings potentially requiring additional onsite days. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold an active U.S. Government Secret clearance; candidates without the required active clearance are not eligible. Certain roles may also be subject to U.S. export-control laws requiring U.S. person status. The California base-pay range is $121,000–$161,000–$177,100 annually; pay varies by experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Vantor offers a competitive total rewards package, including a 401(k) with company match, mental health resources, student loan repayment assistance, adoption reimbursement, and pet insurance.
