About The Position

Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike Division develops collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and software for autonomous weapons. As the division expands across offices, labs, and production sites nationwide, the Space Planning Operations lead will own the day-to-day view of how space is occupied and ensure it stays accurate as teams grow and reorganize. The role coordinates moves and reconfigurations so space supports program needs, including team adjacency to hardware, appropriate classified space, and timely seating for new hires. The position maintains occupancy data, forecasts demand, reports utilization, and partners with division and corporate stakeholders on space decisions and execution. It also maintains occupancy-related floor-plan layers and may support industrial space planning when needed. The role requires up to 10% travel for site visits and eligibility to hold a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in occupancy planning, corporate real estate, space planning, or workplace strategy, including accountability for a multi-site portfolio.
  • Fluency with space management tools such as OfficeSpace, Serraview, Archibus, or similar, and ability to interpret CAD drawings.
  • High proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large, messy datasets and maintaining their accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to push back while preserving relationships and make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • High attention to accuracy and a low-ego approach to work.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for site visits.
  • Must be eligible to hold a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience supporting hybrid or flexible seating models.
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or another high-growth hardware company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, real-time headcount, seating assignments, and space allocations across all AD&S sites in space management software.
  • Plan and sequence moves, reorganizations, and new-hire seating with HR, program leads, and corporate Workplace/Facilities while minimizing disruption to program work.
  • Ensure teams are placed near the people, labs, and hardware they need.
  • Translate headcount plans into site stack plans, occupancy forecasts, and seating scenarios, and flag emerging space constraints.
  • Track and report utilization, occupancy, and seated-density trends for AD&S leadership and corporate Real Estate.
  • Use utilization data to support recommendations to consolidate, densify, or expand space and contribute to the division's multi-year plan.
  • Coordinate with the AD&S Industrial Space Planner, AD&S Strategic Real Estate, and corporate Space Planning on cross-functional decisions, planning, execution, and tooling.
  • Provide support for industrial space planning when the industrial space planner is stretched.
  • Maintain occupancy-related layers in AutoCAD files, OfficeSpace, and/or Archibus for AD&S sites, aligned with corporate floor-plan standards.
