The Space Planner will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and coordinating customer space and occupancy requirements. This role involves assisting government personnel in identifying and resolving space planning and occupancy needs, performing field measurements, and conducting space audits to verify occupancy and utilization. The Space Planner will resolve spatial challenges, develop and modify space layouts using AutoCAD and Revit, and review architectural drawings. Coordination with various teams including engineers, designers, and government stakeholders is essential. The position requires preparing recommendations for facility utilization and strategic space management, generating reports using ARCHIBUS, and maintaining accurate space inventory records. Support for planning studies, compliance documentation, and facility planning reports is also part of the role. Facilitating meetings, preparing communications for senior leadership, and managing multiple projects simultaneously are key responsibilities. The role may require domestic and international travel.
