About The Position

The Space Management Specialist sets up new accounts and resets existing accounts with displays, racks, and point-of-sale (POS) materials. The role deploys and sets up displays and racks as requested and oversees POS and In Market Execution areas at each location, including staging POS materials for delivery at spoke locations. The specialist ensures assigned sets and resets follow leadership direction or the account-specific plan-o-gram and assists with special events as requested.

The position involves preparing equipment and POS materials for customer assignments, working with store contacts to plan and review resets, and maintaining POS and In Market Execution areas. The work environment varies and may include exposure to weather, coolers, and customer storage areas that are not temperature controlled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
• Driver’s license.
• Basic knowledge of the beverage industry.
• Thorough knowledge of brand order, facing, pricing, labeling, POS, product rotation, and display building.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and lift 50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively to satisfy the needs of customers with differing demands and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Fill and adjust shelves, racks, displays, products, and equipment, and place POS items where requested, needed, or required.
• Inspect work areas for cleanliness and verify sets are in accordance with the plan-o-gram.
• Communicate sales opportunities to the sales team and/or customer.
• Prepare and load the necessary equipment and POS materials onto a company vehicle for customer assignments.
• Greet store contacts and review plans for resetting racks, displays, and POS materials.
• Review completed sets with store contacts and obtain their sign-off on reset request forms.
• Remove and replace supplies and equipment needed to complete display resets.
• Maintain POS and In Market Execution areas in spoke locations, including keeping POS cages clean, disposing of outdated POS materials, and staging POS materials for delivery.
• Report gaps in POS delivery from a location or excessive inventory of POS items returned from the market.
• Assist with special events as requested.
