About The Position

The Spa Supervisor supports the daily leadership of the Spa at Bishop’s Lodge, ensuring an exceptional wellness experience that reflects the soul of the property and the standards of Auberge Resorts Collection. This role leads by example in delivering intuitive, personalized, and thoughtful service while supporting spa operations, team development, and guest satisfaction. The Spa Supervisor is a visible, hands-on leader who fosters a calm, welcoming, and elevated environment where both guests and team members feel cared for and supported.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or hospitality education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, or luxury guest services required.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor resort environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily spa operations and support frontline spa team members.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time feedback to ensure service excellence.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new spa associates.
  • Support scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels for service demand.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability within the spa team.
  • Ensure all guests receive a consistent, high-quality spa experience.
  • Assist in resolving guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support VIP guests and special requests as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence in spa areas to support guest engagement and service delivery.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures of the spa.
  • Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor daily service flow to ensure efficient scheduling and guest readiness.
  • Support inventory control, retail presentation, and supply management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and spa operational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with spa leadership and cross-functional resort departments.
  • Assist in coordinating schedules, appointments, and service adjustments.
  • Support consistent communication of spa policies and procedures to team members.
