About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Spa Cosmetologist to listen to guests’ wishes and provide services that exceed expectations. The role includes professional hair styling, cutting and chemical services, restorative treatments, and applying cosmetics and skin treatments, with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation. As part of the leadership team, the Spa Cosmetologist is expected to embody Kalahari’s Promise to Lead with Love by guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Requirements

Hold and maintain a current cosmetologist license with the state of Wisconsin and the Department of Regulations and Licensing.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to learn product and service knowledge needed to provide wellness and beauty solutions that meet guests’ needs.
A collaborative leadership style rooted in respect and service to others.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
Provide professional cosmetics appropriate to each client’s coloring and skin tone.
Shape, trim, pluck, and color eyebrows, or assist with removing unwanted facial hair.
Provide professional skin treatments by selecting, applying, or recommending masks, anti-aging creams, exfoliants, and moisturizers suited to guests’ needs.
Perform prep work and clean and restock work areas as required.
Assist with overall spa cleaning duties.
Guide, support, and inspire associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
