About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Spa Cosmetologist to provide professional hair styling, cutting and chemical services, restorative treatments, cosmetics application, and skin treatments, with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation. The role involves listening to guests’ wishes and providing services that exceed expectations. The cosmetologist helps create a positive guest experience through professionalism and a helpful attitude, and contributes to the spa’s overall cleaning and preparation. Requirements

Hold and maintain a current cosmetologist license with the state of Wisconsin and the Department of Regulations and Licensing.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be able to learn product and service knowledge needed to provide wellness and beauty solutions that meet guests’ needs.
Have a leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Be available for flexible long hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
Provide professional cosmetics appropriate for each client’s coloring and skin tone.
Shape, trim, pluck, and color eyebrows, or assist with removing unwanted facial hair.
Select, apply, or recommend masks, anti-age creams, exfoliants, and moisturizers suited to guests’ needs.
Perform prep work and clean and restock work areas as required.
Assist with the overall cleaning duties of the spa.
Provide professional hair styling, cutting and chemical services, restorative treatments, and skin treatments while emphasizing cleanliness and sanitation.
Guide, support, and inspire associates as part of the leadership team.
