About The Position

The Spa Concierge is primarily responsible for warmly greeting all guests, scheduling services, and answering questions about spa services and products. This role also involves checking guests in and out, selling retail items, and managing the spa environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Three plus years of retail experience in an upscale retail environment (e.g., 3 diamond Spa, Cosmetic, Boutique).
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software.
  • Excellent guest service, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar.
  • Ability to type/write proficiently.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical computations.
  • Ability to multi-task between front desk operations, operational issues, and staff member needs.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Must fully comply with rules and regulations for safe and effective operation of facilities.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all Spa Services.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all Spa Products.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
  • Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
  • Obtain Washington State Food Worker Card.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Complete NQRC Alcohol Server Training.
  • Hepatitis B shots.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly.
  • Schedule guest services.
  • Answer guest questions regarding spa services and products.
  • Check guests in and out.
  • Sell retail products.
  • Ensure compliance with tribal and departmental policies.
  • Promote and sell spa products and services.
  • Schedule spa/salon services using reservation software.
  • Recommend and up-sell spa services.
  • Input and access data in the computer system.
  • Remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods.
  • Operate the spa's point of sale system and handle transactions.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
  • Promote positive relations with all individuals approaching the spa reception.
  • Think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.
  • Prioritize, organize, and follow up.
  • Focus attention on details.
  • Provide a fond farewell to guests.
  • Dispense and serve wine.
  • Answer telephone within 3 rings using scripted etiquette.
  • Accommodate guest requests expediently and courteously.
  • Follow up to ensure completion of requests.
  • Handle guest complaints positively and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide treatment providers with an accurate daily schedule.
  • Ensure treatment providers are aware of guest arrivals.
  • Complete the training process.
  • Notify management of maintenance needs and service recovery issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure accuracy of all monies and keep bank secure.
  • Be responsible for assigned keys and their security.
  • Access all functions of the computer system.
  • Set up workstations with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Use guest names at all times.
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
  • May be required to be a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.
