Requirements

  • No formal education required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Ability to perform basic math and to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Regular, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Availability to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts, consistent with the business needs of the resort
  • Completion of all required training, including proper handling and disposal of sharps

Nice To Haves

  • Prior housekeeping or attendant experience in a hotel or spa environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival; provide spa orientation and offer amenities such as water, robes, towels, slippers, and refreshments
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and answer general questions regarding the spa and property
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception areas, treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, fitness center, and lounge areas
  • Stock and replenish towels, linens, supplies, and amenities throughout the spa; maintain the linen closet in a clean and orderly manner
  • Respond to guest requests pertaining to spa cleanliness, amenities, and linens; resolve guest concerns within scope of authority and refer matters to management as appropriate
  • Report needed repairs, maintenance issues, safety concerns, and unusual circumstances to management immediately
  • Assist with beverage preparation and service, restocking of hospitality stations, and upkeep of lounge areas
  • Log and return lost-and-found items in accordance with spa procedures
  • Comply with all safety policies, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and hazardous material (HAZMAT) handling procedures
