About The Position

The Spa Attendant is responsible for greeting and assisting guests, providing information about spa services, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all spa areas. This role ensures a seamless guest experience by upholding high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of spa services and treatments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.
  • Performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for a majority of the work shift with standard breaks.
  • Lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move spa, salon, or general office supplies and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably in a spa and luxury hospitality environment.
  • One (1) or more years of experience working in a spa or luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  • Provide information on Spa services, treatments, and amenities.
  • Escort guests through treatment rooms and guide them through spa facilities.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all spa areas including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, and pools.
  • Regularly monitor and replenish towels, linens, and spa products.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues to the Spa Manager and Maintenance.
  • Assist in ordering and stocking spa products, ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages to the Spa Manager.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures, including proper sanitation of spa areas and equipment.
  • Ensure guests are aware of and follow spa policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist other spa staff as needed to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Uphold 4-star standards by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining positive relations with guests and employees, and going above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and special.
  • Report to work on time, as scheduled, and ready to work.
  • Perform special projects as needed or requested.
