About The Position

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands Company, is looking to hire a Production Associate. As a Screen Print Catcher/Floater, this role is responsible for assisting with the production of the screen print process, including quality checks to ensure high-quality finished goods that meet customer expectations. The company has been the largest team sporting goods equipment and apparel distributor in the United States for over 50 years, with a mission to save coaches and administrators time so they can focus on impacting young lives.

Requirements

Familiarity with screen printing machines and software.
Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring that we only send out the best product.
A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.
Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements and lifting of no less than 15 lbs.
Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
HS Diploma or GED (required)

Previous warehouse experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
Direct physical activity is required to maintain productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.
Operation of machinery is used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.
Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
Ensures that their area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
