About The Position

The role of the IT Support Specialist is to provide hands-on, efficient, and personable technical support to employees by serving as the first point of contact. The incumbent ensures the smooth operation, security, and evolution of our studio’s IT infrastructure and technological tools, while coordinating necessary internal and external interventions. Through their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to service, they directly contribute to providing a stable, high-performing technological environment tailored to our studio’s needs. We are looking for someone who wants to do things differently and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role will involve working closely with the studio’s administrative team and providing excellent service to employees.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Passionate about problem-solving.
  • Experience and aptitude in customer support and service.
  • Resourceful and self-reliant.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Intermediate English proficiency is required to communicate with all our English-speaking partners and suppliers, accounting for approximately 20% of interactions.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of video game development tools (Microsoft Office, Atlassian Suite, Parsec, Discord, etc.)
  • Have in-depth knowledge of IT security and act accordingly.
  • Knowledge of network configurations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working at a video game development company is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees’ technology-related requests.
  • Determine which IT issues can be resolved internally, and which must be outsourced.
  • Examine, investigate, and resolve issues that can be addressed internally by working directly with employees.
  • Forward issues that cannot be resolved internally to our external partners and follow up as necessary until they are resolved.
  • Handle all necessary IT aspects related to employee hiring, transfers, promotions, and departures.
  • Maintain the IT infrastructure, including servers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain authorized software and applications across the entire IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain an up-to-date physical inventory of IT equipment and software in use.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all coworkers.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in challenging situations by independently determining priorities and the appropriate and effective steps to take to assist employees.
  • Provide excellent service to employees by using interpersonal skills, listening actively, and guiding conversations with relevant questions.
