About The Position

The main objective of this position is to be part of the EUC (End-User Computing) team as a server specialist, to manage all servers and products provided by EUC, including: BeyondTrust Remote Support, Lexmark Markvision, the LRS printing solution, as well as the configuration of network printers across the Americas. The role also includes managing a separate Intune infrastructure for workstations. The scope is not limited to these tools but covers all server and printer-related activities for the Americas region. As a member of the EUC team, the person will also interact with workstations and end-users, ensuring support for the applications under their responsibility. The position also involves: Support for updates (patching), firmware, and security vulnerability remediation on servers, products, and workstations; Level 3 support for end-users and workstations; Assistance to other IT teams (including the Service Desk) when incidents cannot be resolved at a lower level.

Requirements

  • Over 7 years of experience in expert technical support for Microsoft Windows client workstations (Windows 10/11);
  • Over 5 years of experience in expert technical support for Microsoft Windows servers (2016, 2019, 2022);
  • Over 3 years of experience in workstation management via Intune (patch deployment, packages, reports, script execution, daily operations);
  • Excellent command of PowerShell and shell scripting;
  • IT infrastructure expertise: networks, firewalls, etc.;
  • Experience with the LRS printing solution (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of ITIL (incident, problem, and change management);
  • Solid experience with Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, computer objects);
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle processes (migration and upgrades);
  • Good knowledge of project management concepts;
  • Experience with network printer configuration;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • English mandatory (role covering several countries in the Americas);
  • Team spirit, service orientation, positive and committed attitude;
  • Availability to work outside regular hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.);
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication in French and English.
  • English is required, as the role involves communicating with clients outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle management of servers (creation, updates, remediation, decommissioning);
  • Responsibility for the printing solution;
  • Management of the Intune infrastructure (patches, package deployment, scripts, reports) for virtual and physical workstations;
  • Participation in local and global projects for the implementation of server-based solutions;
  • Provide expert support, ensure management and evolution of applications and servers under responsibility (including workstations and users);
  • Evaluate situations with other IT teams that may impact solutions and proactively recommend actions;
  • Adhere to strict change management and application lifecycle processes.
