Requirements

  • Supervise a team of 2 coordinators.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to maintain the Health and Safety culture and facilitate development
  • Be aware of the prevention program and its procedures and ensure the proper maintenance of the program
  • Accompany and audit in order to maintain good work practices
  • Implement the training plan for employees and train them
  • Develop tools, improvement processes and communication means to facilitate the management of occupational health and safety
  • Participate in OHS programs such as: heat stroke prevention, gas exposure prevention, reporting and investigation/analysis, hazard identification, preparation of postings
  • Learn and use the systems, computer and mobile software in support of the Sainte-Rosalie, Montreal and Quebec districts
  • Serve as a resource to management and the supervisory team to guide decisions and initiatives in Health and Safety
  • Implement the action plans and annual objectives of the District as well as the corporate processes and orientations
  • Develop the OHS culture by serving as an example and acting
