About The Position

We are looking for a PLM Specialist to support the development of data extraction and transformation solutions from legacy PLM systems. The role involves working closely with Teamcenter architectures (Rich Client/Active Workspace), data models, workflows, data exchange tools (PLM XML), and data transformation pipelines. The successful candidate will assist in automating extraction workflows, analyzing complex data structures, and preparing clean datasets for downstream systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in software development, data processing, or systems integration.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with PLM XML import/export processes, data migration, XML parsing techniques and XML schema concepts.
Previous experience working with PostgreSQL, as well as with CSV and JSON formats, and the ability to create, query, and manage database tables.
Experience of using modern development tools and environments, including Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
Good knowledge of Skywise.
Good understanding of hierarchical data structures and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Proficient in both French and English.

Responsibilities

Run and maintain Python utilities used for data extraction, transformation, and workflow automation.
Assist in configuring and executing PLM XML import/export transfer modes to successfully migrate or back up enterprise datasets.
Analyze WSDLs, XML schemas, and SOAP/API responses to ensure seamless system communication.
Parse and transform raw XML data into structured formats such as CSV, JSON, and PostgreSQL database tables.
Investigate complex data relationships, item revisions, and hierarchical product structures (BOMs).
Validate extracted data for completeness and accuracy while ensuring the consistency of performance data collected from supply and production flows.
Document extraction workflows, data mappings, technical findings and create user-friendly quick-reference guides.
