About The Position

Burson is seeking an Influencer Marketing Specialist to work on iconic brands in the beauty, retail, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. This is a backfill role to support ongoing team and client needs within our influencer marketing offering. As a member of WPP Onefluence, you will join a global, full-service network offering one of the most sophisticated influencer marketing capabilities in the world, enabling us to meet our clients’ needs at scale. Influencer marketing is a key pillar of our business, and we are looking for someone as passionate about this space as we are. We want to meet candidates who are on top of trends and committed to consumer brands.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in influencer marketing and end-to-end project management, ideally in a PR, social, or digital agency.
  • Existing relationships with Canadian influencers and agencies, with a demonstrated ability to develop authentic partnerships that generate real impact.
  • Ability to leverage data and metrics from social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other emerging channels to optimize campaigns and inform future recommendations.
  • Excellent understanding of the influencer marketing ecosystem, its strategic role, and best practices.
  • Experience in negotiating partnership agreements.
  • Proficiency in influencer identification and vetting tools such as CreatorIQ, Traackr, or native platform tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure impeccable client service.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of requests.
  • Creative, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) – an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the identification, vetting, and outreach to influencers aligned with brands and campaigns for paid collaborations and long-term partnerships, leveraging strategic direction from senior teams and clients.
  • Manage all negotiations, project management, and performance measurement of influencer programs, with a focus on paid collaborations and long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in the influencer ecosystem.
  • Ensure day-to-day client relationship management, becoming a trusted collaborator.
  • Deploy a thoughtful and strategic approach to multi-platform influencer programs, leveraging trends and data to support overall PR objectives.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure tracking, compliance, and best practices across all activities.
  • Depending on the accounts, contribute to campaign reporting by tracking and optimizing organic and paid influencer content, and analyzing results to provide concrete recommendations.
  • Maintain continuous monitoring of emerging trends, platforms, technologies, and influencers in the Canadian market.
  • Conduct social listening and research activities to identify conversation trends and spot relevant influencers.
  • In partnership with senior leaders, share insights, trends, and best practices with teams.
